Transportes F. Ramos settles in Vila-Seca

In order to improve the strategic situation and connectivity of the company, Transportes F. Ramos, born in Reus, moves its headquarters to the Industrial Estate and Services Alba de Vila-Seca. The decision responds to business development reasons, in its way of evolving towards an increasingly competitive company.

The facility is located on a site of 11,676.57 m², where the company has built a warehouse of 1,415.36 m² to manage its operations and administration. Transportes F. Ramos currently employs 100 workers and has a fleet of 80 tractors, 110 tanks and 156 containers.

The Technology Park and Services l' Alba de Vila-Seca, a good business opportunity

The Alba Technology and Services Park was created in 2001 to house different companies related to the services sector. The Park is located in an area of 64 hectares, at the foot of the N-340 road and bordering the T-315 road (Reus - Vila-Seca). These connections make the Polygon have very good road connectivity, linking with the T-11 and C-14, as well as very close access to the AP-7.

Given the success achieved in the establishment of service companies, the Parque Tecnológico l' Alba began in 2008 the urbanization of its third phase.

The park currently houses around 200 companies, where more than 1,000 people work and continues to receive investments for the establishment or expansion of companies. This shows the potentiality, connectivity and quality of the infrastructures of the polygon.

The Mayor of Vila-Seca and two councillors visit the premises of the new headquarters

Last January 31st, the Mayor of Vila-Seca Josep Poblet and the councillors of the council Manuela Moya and Josep Toquero visited the premises of the new headquarters of Transportes F. Ramos.

According to the engineer responsible for the project, Josep Batista, the installations stand out for their thermal and acoustic insulation. The company has made an investment of 795,463 € in the construction of its new headquarters, larger and with better connectivity than the previous one, in Reus.

The Mayor of Vila-Seca, pleased with the initiative, celebrates the fact that a company with such extensive experience -Transportes F. Ramos celebrates its 50th anniversary this year- finds its space in the Technology Park and services l' Alba of the municipality.
